About Olivia Burton 

Olivia Burton is an exciting fashion and lifestyle business which was set up six years ago. The company was founded by two entrepreneur’s Jemma and Lesa who met when studying at the London College of Fashion. After completing their degrees, they took up buying roles working for the likes of ASOS, Selfridges and Topshop. In 2012, after noticing a significant gap in the market for stylish, fashionable watches at an affordable price, the duo decided to join forces and set up their own business; Olivia Burton. 
Mixing vintage styles with catwalk trends, Olivia Burton designs are strikingly original. The coveted brand launches new collections of directional styles every two months, allowing Olivia Burton to react to seasonal trends and offer the consumer constant newness. Last year the brand launched a jewellery range as a natural expansion of their product offering. 
In July 2017 Olivia Burton was acquired by Movado Group, a $500m global watch group with watch licenses including Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger and Lacoste.  This acquisition positions Olivia Burton for accelerated global growth.

Reporting directly to the Director of Digital Marketing based in the US, the Digital Marketing Manager will be an experienced, end-to-end digital marketer comfortable in both leading and executing digital marketing strategy in partnership with cross-functional team including ecommerce, creative and merchandizing, as well as handling day-to-day execution across relevant platforms and technologies. The ideal candidate must possess a depth of knowledge in ecommerce and digital best practices including a general understanding of campaign reporting and analytics.  

Key responsibilities of this role include: running point on digital marketing execution across omni-channel efforts, activate email strategy, manage paid media across all channels (PPC social, search, display) and building a brand specific affiliate program. In addition, this role will work along-side the global digital marketing counterparts and will be responsible for sharing weekly performance


reporting across all active digital marketing channels and implementation of best practices to drive the business forward.  

Responsibilities

Paid Media

•    Work in partnership with Director, Digital Marketing to execute paid media strategy 
•    Manage day-to-day relationship with paid media agency, ensuring that targeting, budget spend, and campaign execution recommendations are in-line with Olivia Burton brand strategy and target audiences
•    Oversee existing campaign performance ensuring it’s tracking toward campaign KPI goals and make recommendations performance optimizations for positive ROI
•    Partner with larger marketing teams to assist in executing digital marketing to support local activations and efforts 
•    Develop overall marketing testing plan across all digital channels 
•    Manage day-to-day asset delivery and approval process for all digital assets needed to support campaign execution as well as larger global marketing calendar  

Email Strategy

•    Ownership of the day-to- execution of the email marketing strategy and calendar 
•    Manage the end-to-end delivery of each scheduled email, from content creation, to build, test, approvals, and deployment 
•    Manage email program performance reporting on a weekly basis as well as a monthly trends and insights to provide data driven recommendations for future email program deployments 
•    Properly manage consumer database segmentation to be leveraged in targeted email deployment strategy 
•    Develop a testing strategy to work in parallel with campaign deployments to ensure optimal performance including open rate, CTR, CTOR, etc 
•    Develop and manage customer journeys (welcome. Abandon cart, winback) as well as trigger email program to support abandon cart, birthdays, etc. 

Affiliates

•    Research and engage an affiliate marketing partner/agency to help support the growth of the Olivia Burton ecommerce business 
•    Manage the day-to-day affiliate marketing program including promotions, new affiliate opportunities and partners to support the growth of the Olivia Burton brand 
•    Manage affiliate program campaign analysis and best practices to ensure program success 
•    Monitor the affiliate budget including commission and spend


•    Collaborate with the creative team to create affiliate marketing material

Overall

•    Support ad-hoc projects and activities as required 
•    Manage digital marketing budget reconciliation on a monthly basis
•    Stay up-to-date with latest technology trends and best practices
•    Monitor competition and provide suggestions for improvement

Job Requirements

•    3-5 years’ experience in a similar role – preferably within fashion or accessories 
•    Experience with Facebook Ad Manager, Sales Force Marketing Cloud (Exact Target) or similar ESP, and Google Ad Words required
•    Experience with enterprise level CRM systems is beneficial
•    Experience working with and managing digital marketing agencies 
•    Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and their role in the overall marketing mix   
•    Prior experience creating weekly/monthly campaign performance analysis required
•    Excellent communication skills and working with cross functional teams 
•    Positive attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment with tight deadlines 
•    Strong commercial eye and meticulous attention to detail
•    Ability to build and maintain relationships 
•    Strong organization and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
•    Proactive self-starter with ability to use own initiative 
•    Strong brand awareness and good knowledge of the high street and trends
